Carriage Repair, Tuneup, and Detailing
All ponies for sale are being trained at least twice a week. For an account of their training, click on "Logs" and then on the name of the critter(s) in which you are interested.
Raul, 4-year-old Hackney
Hagan, 3-year-old Hackney
We have two Hackney ponies for sale. All are completely up to date on hoof and dental care, for which they are quiet and well-behaved. They also are current on immunizations, and are dewormed every 60 days, as are all of the horses at Three G Farms. They are rescue ponies, rescued from a pretty tough situation in 2004. Since then, Jada Neubauer has been working with them to turn them into well-trained, safe driving ponies. The two grade Hackneys are:
Raul is a 4-year0ld black Hackney gelding has excellent ground manners and is being long-reined and ground driven. He will be introduced to the drag and the carriage in the spring. Raul clips and stands well for grooming and farrier work. Raul should mature around 12 hands.

Hagan, a 3-year-old bay Hackney gelding with good ground manners. Hagan clips and stands well for grooming and farrier work. We will start longeing and long reining him in the spring of 2007. Hagan also should mature at around 12 hands.

Tad Morris, the newest member of the Three G Farms staff, is working with his dad to design and custom-build the Three G Hilander, a front-entry road cart with an adjustable seat and two carriage springs mounted parallel to the wheels . The basic carriage will be natural wood that is stained and then finished with several coats of an automotive-type finish proven to stand up very well over time. The basic carriage will have black-painted hardware and a bench seat covered with a heavy-duty vinyl. When the carriage is ordered, the buyer selects the stain and the color of the upholstery. Additional features available for an added cost are brass or chrome hardware and a painted (rather than natural) finish.
The first Hilander is in production, with an estimated delivery date of April 10. Watch this page for pictures of the carriage!
In the future, we also will be manaufacturing standard road carts and Meadowbrooks, and rebuilding old carriages. Jada and Earl competed at the 2007 Cowboy Country CDE in dressage and cones n the first completed rebuilt road carriage.
